With a showing of hands, who's going back to the South?

 ”The Senator” was Florida’s oldest cypress tree, and it just burned down this morning.

My family and I saw it over the past Christmas holiday and it saddens me that its fallen victim to an arson related brush fire. The other tree on the property, 90 year old “Lady Liberty”, was not damaged, but nothing will ever be as majestic as the Senator.

Sad to wake up to this news. Grew up seeing this on field trips in elementary school and wish I would have seen it now that I’m older and live five minutes away.
